I have many tattoos, my personal rule is I never get one that clothing can't hide. If I wear a tank shirt most of them will show. But never on the face, hands neck etc. Just because of my job. You never know what your future career choice might be. It would suck to not get it because of a bad judgement of a tattoo.

Just be sensible about it. If it's concealment is made by everyday clothing and/ or doesn't distract from a professional appearance, it's most likely going to get overlooked. Especially if it's not offensive or intimidating.

I go like 3 months without seeing tattoos..
whenever someone applies for a job with me can I see a visible tattoo first thing that comes to my mind they are mentally unstable they are rebellious and they are childish and I don't hire them usually because after talking to them we realize just how mentally unstable they are and it's not the image that we want to project to put it bluntly they are not very professional so bear that in mind rebellious snow bikes because unfortunately whatever they taught you know schools it's not really applicable here in the real world when you're covered in ink you look like a degenerate transport of mentally unstable lesbian out of the mental institution or a convict that's how we view you I wish things were not like that but unfortunately they are why should we pick some trash when we have applicants who are normal don't have an axe to grind who are not going to cause problems in the future issues other mental stability it would be a lot better if you people would just buy a t-shirt that way when you're tired of the T-shirt you can give it to Goodwill and maybe they can give it to a homeless guy but when you're 50 years old and you don't even want those nasty old tattoos anymore you really think good will will take them point is this don't marginalize yourself with graffiti and if you do have tattoos that are visible have them lasered off it is to your benefit when applying for a job trust me I know these things
my first tat was a kakashi tattoo on my forearm and i applied for walmart the next day (i was 16) and they didn't care they thought it was pretty cool. I got it because my brother and i haven't seen each other for like 5 years and that was our favorite anime growing up and he loved kakashi so i got it for him. I just think as long you dont have and horrifying images like skulls with worms coming out of them or naked women on you where it's visible they don't care. nad not face,neck, and hand tats. That's just because if i see a guy with a teardrop filled in on his face (meaning his killed someone before) i'm walking the other way.
The best place to get one is on your leg below the knee so if you have shorts on everyone can see it but in a job setting you can easily hide it with pants
